A 22 hour JOURNEY to Washington!

Not another tunnel! Along our 22 hour train ride, the brochure said that there are 21 tunnels that the train passes thru. The tunnels are really dark and make a lot of noise.

This picture was very difficult to capture, the one and only time it seemed that the train broke a speed over 5 miles per hour. I was kinda glad that we did travel thru Portland, Oregon a bit faster than other cities, as there was a lot of nasty nasty along the tracks. The bridge was beautiful to over look the water and it was getting close to sunset.

Here is Jake and I sitting on the train, this picture was taking shortly after we woke up on the train. It was hard to be enthused a whole lot considering we had just found out that we were already running about 2 hours behind.

This beautiful picture was taken shortly after we started going into Oregon, I really enjoyed the scenery, during the times that I could stay awake. Jacob really enjoyed going into the lounge cart which is full of windows and a great way to look at the scenery. They also showed two movies during the last 7 or 8 hours of the train ride. At least they showed a good movie, Shrek!!!

Other than the duration of the trip and Jake getting the comfortable seat while we slept the train ride wasn't all that bad. I enjoyed spending time with Jake before I wanted to strangle him.

Because blogger will NOT allow me to publish the picture of Baby Henman, I have chose these pictures to publish. I will send the picture through e-mail some other time. I love the first picture, Katie Lu is a wild burro adopted from the BLM. Although they claim they are wild burro's, Katie has been sweet and loving from day one, for some reason she picked up on the idea that in order to receive a carrot from me that I had to kiss her first, once she got this concept she put her lips out for a kiss... She is very sweet and I am having a hard time right now cause she is at another ranch trying to be breed. I miss Katie Lu, and Jake too (another adopted Burro). The second picture is of some cactus that was given to me by my grandparents and I took home and started growing. We were absolutly amazed at the beautiful flowers they produced. Hope that you enjoy. Baby Henman!!!

Just typing a short message showing that I was online tonight and that I did try to upload the first pictures of Baby Henman. According to the sonagram today I am 8 weeks and 6 days along. My new due date is January 12, 2007! I will try again tomarrow night to upload the pictures. That is if I feel up to it after the Outlaws Baseball Game. They are having fireworks at the game, and it is going to be our first game of the season (I CAN'T WAIT)! Love, Danica, Darren, and Baby Henman

5 days and 17 hours left till Jake and I board the train for WA... We both can't wait!!! Well, I can wait a while for the 17 hour train ride, but I can't wait much longer to spend time with my Sis and my niece, Brent decided beens that I was coming to visit he would leave town, we know where the love is there. Pictures to be posted soooooon.... I have pics from Darren's family reunion to put on here, could hardly fit all of his aunts and uncles in the same photo, his grandparents had 15 children.... Had a great time this weekend, other than the scorching heat. Love You All!

Update

I am at work now but I will post soon. It has been a long last few weeks. I have been extremely tired and busy. Darren has finally moved home from Sacramento and we have many boxes to unpack and find places to put it all. Darren acquired lots of stuff while in Sacramento and now we have to make room for it all. Never thought our huge house could fill up soo quickly. This weekend Darren is working all day Saturday and on Sunday we are going to try and make it to the second day of the Henman family reunion. So again this weekend will be busy. Anyways, love you all and don't lose hope I will post soon enough. Plus, I will have a whole lot of pics from Washington and the 17 hour train ride...... Only like 10 more days till Jake and I leave. I can't wait to hold and love and kiss and spoil Audrey rotten, yeah I know you all are jealous, I will take pictures for you all to rub it in even more ~ Lots of Loves!
